Plough Cottage Accommodation Booking Terms and Conditions

We look forward to welcoming you at Plough Cottage, New Road, Bradfield, Sheffield, S6 6HW.

You are entering into an agreement with us when making this booking. Please read our terms and conditions of booking below.

You will be asked to fill out a booking form which once completed and the deposit transferred your booking will be secured.

Prices and Duration: The price of the accommodation includes the following:

Linen, Towels, Hot water, Electricity, Central heating & Internet & Wifi

During Peak season and busy weekends a minimum of two nights must be booked

Please ask about our further discounts on Bookings of more than 3 nights.

Arrival: Your accommodation will be available from 3pm on your day of arrival. 

Departure: Please leave the accommodation by 11 am on the day of departure, unless otherwise previously arranged. Please try to leave the accommodation as clean and tidy as possible.  Please leave all keys back in deposit box.

We may be able to accommodate alternative start dates and durations. Please contact us.

Pets: We may accept one small well behaved dog but we ask that the dog is not allowed in the bedrooms and on furniture. An additional fee of £20 will be required. Please contact us for more information

Smoking: Plough Cottage is strictly non- smoking.

Maximum Occupancy: The property consists of two bedrooms. A large double and a double with a single over bunk. Plough Cottage would therefore comfortably accommodated two couples or a small family.

Booking & Deposits: On booking, either by telephone or via email we will require a 70% deposit of the total cost to confirm the booking . The remainder of the cost is due no later than seven days prior to arrival.

At peak times such as Christmas, New Year and Bank Holidays, 100% payment will be required upon booking.

Last minute bookings (within 14 days of the stay, full payment will be required)

A refundable security deposit will be required to cover any damages and this will be £75 and should be paid on final payment.

Payment is usually by bank transfer or cheque. We cab accept Paypal but this incurs a 3.5% charge

Cancellation and Insurance:  Once booked, our agreement is a legal contract and your deposit(s) is (are) non-refundable. If you need to cancel your stay and Plough Cottage cannot be re-let for the same duration or more, the remaining balance is still payable.

If we do succeed in re-letting the booking, you are no longer liable for the balance, or we will refund it to you if you have already paid it.

In the unlikely event we would need to cancel your stay, for reasons out of our control, we would refund all monies paid. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.

We recommend that you take out cancellation insurance, which is inexpensive and can be obtained from any good insurance broker.

Damages & Breakages: Accidents do happen so we do not charge for minor breakages. We would charge for the replacement, cleaning or repair of items (s) belonging to the accommodation or the fabric of the building itself, damaged either wilfully or because reasonable precautions have not been taken when this is significant. We may make an additional charge of £55.00 if you did not report this.

Any repairs, additional cleaning and major replacements will be deducted from the security deposit. Security Deposits will be returned within 48 hours after check out.

Liability: We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves.

Our Neighbours:  Plough Cottage has neighbours, and we request you to respect this by keeping noise to a minimum after 10.00pm.
